Another Nope fan.

Anyone else think that Jean Jacket fashioned their shell around Jupe's hat?

I loved Nope. I was temporarily living in Spain when it came out and the Spanish title of the movie, Nop, will forever make me laugh.

Never really thought about this, clearly Jean Jacket can shapeshift so maybe this really was intentional. Cool find

And yes Nope was absolutely incredible, one of my favorite films of all-time. It would be the top movie of the year in almost any other year ever, it just happened to release the same year as The Northman which isn't just one of my favorite films but maybe my favorite period

Gotta give a shout out to Jeremy Renner. Guy was out in a blizzard plowing his neighbors when the accident happened.
He got out of the plow for some reason and the clutch slipped back into drive. He fell and was run over trying to get back into the thing to stop it.

Can't help but be reminded of Anton Yelchin.

That's why you don't use the pull out method.

Final 2022 list after seeing basically everything I could get my hands on:

20. Decision to Leave - Park Chan-wook
19. Bodies Bodies Bodies - Halina Reijn
18. Everything Everywhere All At Once - Daniel Scheinert, Daniel Kwan
17. Barbarian - Zach Cregger
16. Avatar: The Way of Water - James Cameron
15. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - Ryan Coogler
14. Pearl - Ti West
13. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero - Tetsuro Kodama
12. The Banshees of Inisherin - Martin McDonaugh
11. The Whale - Darren Aronofsky
10. Top Gun: Maverick - Joseph Kosinski
9. Glass Onion - Rian Johnson
8. The Batman - Matt Reeves
7. Babylon - Damien Chazelle
6. RRR - S. S. Rajamouli
5. The Menu - Mark Mylod
4. Triangle of Sadness - Ruben Östlund
3. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish - Joel Crawford
2. Nope - Jordan Peele
1. The Northman - Robert Eggers

Puss in Boots blew my ****ing socks off, that is not an ironic ranking

It's odd.

I'm totally okay with Pussy Boots being on your list but the fact that you liked that Glass Onion movie so much pretty much negates anything else you have to say. That movie sucked my balls.

At least I'm not an absolute cringelord that puts Aftersun in first place. What in the ****? And I'm even someone with daddy issues so you'd think it would have worked for me. Snooze

Good final ~10 minutes though
