I've only seen three other films that he's starred in; 'Suddenly', 'The Man with the Golden Arm', and 'Lady in Cement' and I thought he gave good performances in all of them. 'Lady in Cement' is another detective flick where he plays the character of Tony Rome.

Here's one from the "so bad, it's good" category...




Santo in the Wax Museum (1963)


A low-budget story about a masked Mexican wrestler who fights crime on the side while wearing his wrestling costume. This one is an odd combination of crime, horror, and wrestling but it managed to be as entertaining as it was ridiculous.

Little Caesar (1931)


Classic B&W crime film about a small-time thug with big-time ambitions in the crime world. He ruthlessly works his way up the organized crime ladder in pursuit of his twisted dream to "be somebody."
