![]() Rather slow to start with but from the heist onwards (a 25 minute section with no dialogue-astonishing) this is simply suberb. Over 50 years old but still a damn good Gangster/Heist drama. This criterion edition is fantastic too with a stunning picture.

Because at the end of the third book, God dies. And throughout the books God is made out to be a megalomaniacal evil force that stops people from being true to themselves. But of course, that's just a fantasy novel. The invisible man in the sky can't die!
