Can anyone recommend some good comedies I'm less likely to have seen?
I've been watching too many heavy movies recently.

Glengarry Glen Ross - 9/10
Amazing cast and dialog.

uhh, the last comedy I saw was a musical about singing Islamic people who are joyous that the drought is finally over. The whole thing was really weird yet still pretty funny, I don't think you would like it though. Plus I don't remember the name because it was some foreign name, I'd have to check the last rentals under netflick, if you really had the urge to watch it.

You have probably seen a lot of these but what the hell!

Christopher Guest films-Spinal Tap/ Waiting For Guffman/Best in Show/A Mighty Wind/For Your Consideration.
M*A*S*H-the film.
Catch 22.
Evil Aliens-it's a horror but tons of in jokes and comedy.
Go.
Heathers.
The King of Comedy
One Night At MCcool's.
Woody Allen double-Annie Hall/Manhattan.
Sideways.
His Girl Friday.

I'm not sure why people keep mentioning Sideways as a comedy...it's really not...

I recommend Taste of tea, Funky forest or Full throttle if you want something different. All available on ADC...;)

In the same vein of Withnail & I. It is not a fully fledged comedy, but there is certainly moments of hilarity and a pathos to the whole proceedings. We could get all analytical and say Charlie Chaplin movies are not comedys, but that is for another forum!
