Just saw the original Batman. Having seen The Dark Knight first, I thought it couldn't be beat, but now I'm not so sure. I really can't decide which one I like more.

I still think there are some things the 89 Batman did better.

It wasn't preachy, Keaton was a way better Batman, his suit and batmobile actually looked cool, the music was way better and the film actually LOOKED like a Batman movie.

Oh, and Kim Basinger is a lot hotter than Maggie Gyllenhaal. :D

One of my favorite movies of all time.

"Did you ever want to be anybody else?"
"I'd like to try Porky Pig."

Watched Live Free or Die Hard for some reason. The first time I saw it, I remember somewhat liking it. This time, just pure hatred.

^ John Wayne's breakthrough movie. I've always been a bit of a sucker for well-written, character-driven films, so I absolutely loved it. Definitely in the top drawer of westerns then.

Saw Edward Scissorhands the other day, trying to catch up on all the good Tim Burton movies that I've missed. It was really touching, and I thought the whole movie was well done. Such a normal setting was really turned in to and interesting place, and all of the characters were well acted.

It's an Argentinian movie, called LA ANTENA ('The Aerial' or 'Télépolis'). Such a lovely movie. An homage to silent movies and German expressionism in particular.

It's a silent movie in itself, which is given context to in the movie. It happens in a city ruled by the media (or just "television") were the voices have been taken from the citizens (Thus everyone is silent, tho they do talk). 9/10

I absolutely loved La Antena. Great choice.

I saw Up, which was fun (7/10), Ciao, which was pretty bad in a way only gay movies can be bad (4/10) and Derek, which was alright (6/10). Jarman was a really charming and lovable man, it's a shame I don't really understand his art...:/

It's more of the Uni's choice in that, they've just started an Argentinian festival today. I loved it, tho the little kid was really starting to annoy me at the end (¿dónde está... Mamà? ... lol) .
