i made it half way through Shrink and gave up. it's not often that i can't make it to the end of a film, but it was just killing me.

last night i watched Bottle Shock, which i enjoyed thoroughly. Alan Rickman was brilliant as usual.

I saw that one on a plane a little while ago and it bored me silly. I think maybe I just have a thing against movies about wine because I hated Sideways too.

I wanna' see Men Who Stare at Goats. With that title it could be 2 & 1/2 hours of grass growing and I wouldn't give a ****.

Sideways was one of the most boring movies I've ever seen.

Going to have to agree with this. The conflict is minimal and honestly I didn't feel anything for the characters.. not one person in that film was even remotely likeable.

i agree it would have been more enjoyable if Paul Giamatti had turned out to be the ghost of a cyborg at the end and had a lightsabre duel with that other guy, and there could have been at least one good motorcycle chase... but you can't have everything.

One of the better sci-fi flicks I've seen in the last few years. Starts off as a rather annoying homage to Solaris/2001 but develops into something very original. And made for only 5 mil. Gotta respect that. Plus, it was directed by Bowie's son.
