PA definitely had it's moments, but overall.. I've seen much scarier. I just think it's funny to hear that some people thought those were actual recordings, the retards. at the end of the movie there's even a giant disclaimer, THIS IS A FICTIONAL ACCOUNT.

Paul WS Anderson is one of the worst directors working in Hollywood today. You can think him for the Resident Evil movies. Mortal Kombat is his best film, that one was at least watchable. |

Blame studios for Resident Evil. Although Anderson's 1st film and subsequent scripts for the following two (he didn't direct them) were a massive let down regarding the game fanboys, he was the fall guy as George A Romero was originally commissioned to script and direct and when he presented his version the studios crapped themselves as it was too dark and wouldn't have appealed to the games demographic. Kinda ironic when the games themselves have been heavily influenced by Romero in the first place. BTW Event Horizon is far from a bad film and Death Race was enjoyable nonsense.

Saw these two this evening.
A lot worse than I thought it would be (and my hopes were already low). A bag of wank. A lot better than I expected. Worth seeing once. A half-decent concept.
