Bought it yesterday and watched it tonight. Hopelessly convoluted and contrived. However there was a lot to admire. Some of the cinematography was beautiful to look at. Kristin Scott Thomas was excellent in a major French speaking role and some of the music tracks were stellar (Jeff Buckley-Lilac Wine).

Still a little dissapointed though.

one of my friends went and saw Atonement and im guessing she enjoyed. but im planning to see it soon, not sure if i want to though. but y'know, its just one of those movies where its like. "should i see it?"

i think that Cloverfield is going to be a movie that i am gonna be the least impressed with. just as i was the least impressed with Epic Movie. its gonna be one of those movies where i was i had stayed home and not seen it.
