Oh. My. God.

Saddest movie ever? I gotta say, I rarely ever cry at movies but this one broke me. Bjork gives an amazing performance, I can't believe she had such little experience at acting before this film. She gives the role the same amount of passion, warmth and intensity as her music, speaking of which I love the music here too. I've Seen it All and New World being the high points.

This film is so tragic and brutal that it's certainly not a film I'd recommend to just anybody. But man, the ending is just heartbreaking.

Yes, it is like cooking pasta for dinner. You put water in a pot, heat it, it becomes hotter and hotter until it starts to boil, you add the pasta, then turn off the stove and go flick on the tube. I felt somewhat robbed after hearing all the reviews.

This is a must own for me..... gonna be hard for me to just wait 2 weeks for the blu-ray release.

BTW this is on Instant on Netflix if anybody wants to check it out.
l loved this. Shows you that people can still make good and challenging films on a shoestring budget.

It was so much fun to see this on the big screen. Doc's facial expressions still crack me up, and Michael J. Fox was crazy young. Brought back some great memories...

^ I recently re-watched that as well after over 10 years and it's still awesome. The Doc definitely makes it along with a healthy dose of Johnny B. Goode.

Avatar for the second time in the theater. Still insanely fun, especially the second half. Brilliant action roller coaster. That captain dude is a spectacular bad guy. Two things that don't work for me in the film are Sigourney Weaver and Giovanni Ribisi. Redundant or poorly cast (Ribisi has always gotten on my nerves). And did anyone else feel like the scenes with real people were kinda blurry/interlaced?

Anyhow, hopefully they'll make sequels with nothing but CGI. I feel like there's enormous potential for epic story lines focusing exclusively on the Pandora natives and their culture.

I'm watching the original Fun with Dick and Jane (1977). Much better than the remade one, the dialogues are fun, and the evolution is more plausible. George Segal can be mistaken for a Mexican, Jim Carey, not that much. Btw, I'm really liking that young George Siegel, haven't seen him since Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and Jane Fonda has always been great, so there's not much to add here.

Fucking awful movie, plot does not make sense from red herring to red herring, storyline was absurd bordering on asinine, and Ellen Page's character made me want to punch her in the fucking face. I don't think I've ever seen a movie that made me empathize with a pedophile, this movie was terrible.
