I think Robin Williams is quite brilliant in the many movies where he shines. I too think it's a bit puzzling or perhaps sad that he now seems to only do simple comedies. He's got a real talent for drama .. or used to have anyways!

I loved this film. It's a really beautiful and mysterious yet completely weird and trippy animation.

My second time watching this one, and I still think it's one of the best products of British TV. Very complex and fascinating film that goes out of its way to challenge virtually every social stereotype in urban, Thatcherite Britain. Pretty funny in places too. Great stuff then.

Still watching Fellini movies...

Yesterday

^Very funny. Kind of a reality-tv show, as it's about a TV network coming to record an orchestra practising. Not much of a story, even though there's a lot of action in there. Still, very fulfilling, and great music by Nino Rota, as usual.

Today:

^I have such a huge crush on Mastroianni ever since I watched Otto e mezzo (8½) ... Anyway, with another Epic by Fellini, and for the third time with Marcello Mastroianni, personifying his alter-ego in this ocean of male-eating females. Watching this one, less than a week after watching Otto e mezzo, I can easily say: "this is a sequel to 8½". Or just, another episode of Fellini's autobiography. I don't want to talk about it, as I'll just be building up your expectations, and giving you spoiler. I will simply say, I loved it.

Haha that's funny, because I know if you're favorite band sold out and made an album to "pay the bills" you would be up in arms...

Actors aren't held to the same standards of integrity that musicians are IMO. Directors maybe, but not actors.

clash of the titans... it was crap. they had so much potential to make a good movie out of that.

I randomly felt like watching Brave New World last night. It was fantastic.
