I think Christian Bale is a pretty good Batman. Obviously, the person who is Batman isn't completely "right" in the head and to me, it seems there's something just not right about Bale. I'm talking about the actor, not his characters although they too take on this trait. That's part what makes him work, I think!

I agree. I thought he did an incredible job with that, I really felt like I was watching someone who was just barely containing his demons with a mask of sophistication.
