It was really bad. Steve Carell had a couple moments where he was funny, but over all not all that enjoyable.

one of my all time favorite movies....just a friendly heads up...you need NEVER see thew Gus Van Sant shot for shot re-make....i died a little on the inside the day that came out

North By Northwest is such a bad-ass film....everything about it is awesome....i also suggest checking out Spellbound and Rope....both are amazing examples of just how good Hitchcock really was

That looked funny to me, but then again... so did Date Night. And that was pretty much a dud (besides the selling point of just being a decent dumb comedy to see at the theater with your friends).

That Guess Who romcom with Ashton Kutcher that was inspired by that movie was awful.

it was pretty bad but come on...it had Bernie Mac in it....that made up for everything else about it, imo.

Not Spellbound, dude, time has not been kind to that one...even Hitch didn't look favorably on it later on. :\

Well, since everyone is recommending Hitch films, I must say my favorites beside Psycho are definitely Vertigo, Rear Window, Rope, Rebecca, Shadow of a Doubt and Frenzy.

Since you liked Psycho very much I'd like to recommend you another masterpiece from the same year, but not from Hitchcock: Michael Powell's Peeping Tom (that is if you haven't already seen it). It is generally regarded that these two films have had a great influence on a 'serial killer genre'. But, regardless of that, they're ****ing great films that transcend genres.
