It's not that I didn't like Basterds, it was entertaining. But considering all the hype it got, I thought of it as relatively forgettable. It was a cool movie, but lacking in substance.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I don't know what it was as I'm no movie expert but Django just seemed to draw me in more in a much more memorable way than Inglorious Basterds. I only watched Basterds once but would happily watch Django again and again.
