The Skeleton of Mrs. Morales (1960, Rogelio A. González)

Great light horror Mexican flick about a taxidermist who does in his harpy wife. YouTube vid has good English subs. Looks great, too.

I've heard non stop bitching about this movie from fans but just now watching the trailer it looks really dope. Only issue is that they totally should have used Ed Boon for the Scorpion voice.

Also, being a total nerd for the lore of this game, I like how they had the portrait of the great Kung Lao. (he's an ancestor to Liu Kang and the current Kung Lao that fought in past tournaments)

Literally my only problem with this trailer is that it has some non-game character named Cole as a main character and no Johnny Cage. But other than that it looks like it has the exact same tone and lack of class as the first movie combined with the rated R ultraviolence we were denied that was the biggest strike against that movie. I mean Kano holding some guy's heart and going "Kano wins ... you ****ing beauty" makes the movie worthwhile even if it doesn't live up to the trailer.

I think it'll be good. I don't know if it will be the legend that the first movie was that arguably helped shape the identity of some of the core characters, but it definitely can't be nearly as bad as Annihilation.

I also know Johnny is supposed to be in the sequel if it gets one. I'd prefer him over Cole too.

Finally watching Hellraiser. Hope it lives up to the hype.

Oh wow Holy **** great movie but it's cool that the cenobites are straight up the Godhand from Berserk.

Watch Hellraiser 2. It's the more popular one because it's more about the cenobites. I think it really depends on what you're looking for. And 3 is the cheesed out ridiculous one where they really made pinhead into the villain and the star kind of destroying any consistency just to milk as much money from it.

I've been silent for days after watching this. Went looking for a Hitchcock produced film (he's credited with being one of several) and was confronted with more than I could handle.
