Loved it. Was riveted for 2.5 hours. Mel Gibson is so good at acting... The script is great. S. Craig Zahler rules.

Ripley's Game (2002)

One of these prestige thrillers that are really expertly filmed and acted, but this only goes to highlight how utterly incoherent and thin the script is. John Malkovich is a pleasure to watch and yet at the end all you're left with is "this is stupid"

Terror from the Year 5000 (1958)

Low budget B&W sci-fi flick from the 50's. A couple of scientists conduct experiments with a transporting chamber which turns out to be able to move objects through time as well as space. The older inventor of the transporter wants to proceed with caution while his younger assistant decides to throw caution to the winds of fate. This was so bad it was almost good.

From American International Pictures--you don't expect Citizen Kane from this outfit but their stuff is entertaining at times. Thanks for posting this. It's on youtube. I'll have to check it out.
