Oh, for me it's a typical melodramatic, overly preachy Oscar bait. The theme is a strong one and that's why people love this film, but it's made to seem so banal by all the melodrama and totally unconvincing transition of the main character.

Haha, you're a good friend. I'm so selfish, if I go to the cinema with female friends they already know I will choose the film we're watching and there's no too ways about it.

Well done for being a good friend, the down side is a few of your brain cells are probably dead.

^Loved the movie.
Peter Sellers' last film, before dying the next year. Should've won the Oscar, great interpretation of a tasteless man, the child of television. The Magritte-ian aesthetics worked perfectly with the story. All beautiful cast, hilarious movie also.
