I haven't seen the first two before but the last two are really good especially Performance.

Brick was decent. Not brilliant or anything, but I enjoyed watching it for sure and thought it was different from most of the slop movie people like to feed us now days. Definitely worth £1 anyway.

Every movie is different from the book, that's kinda the whole point of translating a literal medium to a visual one.

Though in this movie's case, it makes so many changes that it not only ignores the meaning of the book but the meaning of it's own damn title. The original ending was gonna be in there, but test audiences didn't like it.

But they changed the whole point of the monsters and the ending but still included clues hinting toward the original ending.

It's not the fact they changed things, they changed the important things. The title doesn't even make sense in the movie, that's how badly they screwed it up.
