I've since added some:

A Beautiful Mind

Mulholland Drive

Another 3 favourites. Not that anyone is interested in my DVD collection, but still.

If you like This Is England then you really need to check out the directors earlier film Dead Man's Shoes. Nothing short of a masterpiece.

I have Dead Man's Shoes down there in a box (moving house soon, not ashamed of it.) Shane Meadows is brilliant. I'm hoping for many brilliant films to come. I remember the first time I watched Dead Man's Shoes, I was under the impression it was a comedy and when I watched it... I think it broke my spirit a little bit.

Had to buy it. Blows the arse off Romero's latest efforts. Humour, suspense and horror in a solid package. Kinda creepy in places too.

Funnily enough, I was going to watch that the other day. The only version I could find lacked the subtitles, so I couldn't in the end, but from what I've heard it definitely seems very interesting.

Just avoid Batman Forever and Batman & Robin like the plague eh. The latter in particular is easily one of the most painfully awful movies it's ever been my misfortune to see.

Also, if you like This Is England and Dead Man's Shoes, watch Made In Britain as if your life depends on it. It's probably the most powerful drama I've seen in years.

As for me...

A belated birthday present for my Dad. Gotta say, the cover that came with the DVD I just got is so much lamer than the above.

Yeah, I've seen them before. Batman Forever was the first Batman film I ever saw as it was released around 97ish? I would've been 6 :D so I have some affection for that. "Ice to see you" is just a new low.

I just wanted the box set because I had the two Nolan Batman's so I thought I'd get them all. Not bad for £10 :D

I haven't seen Made In Britain. It sounds like my type of film. I will try and get round to watching it. Danny Boyle's Sunshine is on my next to watch list, mind. Still can't believe I've not got around to watching it.

A tenner for four movies? Not bad, but still a bit much for both the Joel Schumacher films - they should've given you money for taking them off their hands.

Haha yeah, I doubt I'll ever watch them again but I'll definitely watch the Burton films as well as the Nolan ones. £2.50 per Burton Burton = a steal.

Only £3 for this 2 disc set complete with 2 replica versions of the infamous Sniffing Glue fanzine from the late 70's. Hopefully watch this tonight.
