Actually it was given to me by a relative which either means that A) it's not very good or B) being the elitist I am- they didn't get it and I might as I usually get a call every other week on my opinions about films.
C) It's just over rated anyway.

I'm not big on modern war films so we will see how I get on. Once I get around to removing it from my 'to watch' pile. (Currently at around 60 titles!)

Well, it was a birthday present. All 5 original seasons, I think they got it for 190 bucks (Each individual season gets sold over here for 60 bucks so in that regard they saved a bit).

That is amazing. I'm completely jealous.

More frigging stuff:

This is the best version out there regarding anamorphic prints and correct subtitles. I haven't seen this for years so I can't wait to see it again.

After having my balls blown away by this a couple of months back, I just knew I had to get a copy for myself. Stunning film.

One of those cult 80's films I never got around to watching, so I wonder how it is.

One of Stallone's better efforts and it holds up pretty damn good. I have been looking for this for a while now.

Yet more buys!

Cannot wait to plough my way through this lot again. I am not a huge T.V fan but The Wire is something else.

Anything written by David Mamet is always worth a look and I have read nothing but positive reviews of this and it cost me a whole pound! Has to be done doesn't it?

Another whole pound of my money on this and it seems to be one of those typical 'quirky indie' movies that I am not a huge fan of but I will buy anything in a DVD case for a pound (well almost always)

Did you end up watching this and if so what did you think? I still haven't seen it but have been meaning to, have only ever heard super good things about it...

I miss that show, since they stopped playing it on Teletoon a year or so ago I haven't seen any of it. I may just have to add those to my collection. That show was great.

Picked this up yesterday for like three bucks. The cover looked pretty cool and it's gotten alot of really good reviews so I decided to buy it. Hope it's good...

It really is great--even better than I remember it and I remember it being pretty good. Uncle Ruckus is amazing--so funny, and yet I can't actually quote anything he says to anyone.

Plus, the guest stars are amazing: Cee-Lo, Mos Def, Samuel L Jackson, Ed Asner, Charlie Murphy, Snoop Dogg, Katt Williams, Fred Willard... damn.

Still sat on the shelf!

A whole pound. Seen it before and liked it but no doubt it will sit on the shelf for months before I watch it but it was only a quid!

Yeah it's Danny 'fucking' Dyer and Gillian Anderson (X Files) slumming it but it's a fairly decent revenge movie with a short running time. Worth £1.30 as I'm a tight old bastard.
