Yeah I cant remember the last time I watched a series week by week on TV. I either watch online, download or buy the DVD's.

I don't think I've actually made a list for this thread myself after all this time. Here goes then...

The Sopranos
Rome
I'm Alan Partridge
The League Of Gentlemen
That Mitchell and Webb Look
A Bit Of Fry and Laurie
Whitest Kids You Know
Friends
Balls Of Steel
A Question Of Sport

Ten'll do for now.

Anyone have any Britcom recommendations? I'm a fan of League of Gentlemen, Black Books, Porridge, Only Fools & Horses, Peep Show, I'm Alan Partridge, Spaced, Father Ted, Ideal, Blackadder, the IT Crowd, the Office, Fawlty Towers, QI, Red Dwarf, Extras...

On my to-watch list, I have Saxondale, Bottom, Royle Family, A Bit of Fry & Laurie, Green Wing and Yes Minister. Lately I've been blindly downloading shows (namely Nightingales, Inbetweeners, Open All Hours, the Good Life, Teachers) without anything to go on so some solid recommendations would be welcome.

Life On Mars comes to mind. Not because its at all similar to the shows you posted, just because its better than most of them.

I think you have most of the bases covered sit-com wise. I would get Early Doors downloaded immediately though.

I should probably mention that I'd love to find something in the same vein as League of Gentlemen. I haven't had much luck so far.

I really cant think of anything similar to The League Of Gentlemen mate. Maybe someone else can help you out there but id say that its not very likely. All credit to the show I suppose cause i dont think you can really compare anything to it.
