I paid $60 dollars for this game AND the special units. I run it on my dad's supercomputer, yet it crashes when I move ships together or try to save past 1742. Plus the other countries don't even do naval invasions - just blockade your ports. I don't have a single soldier in Great Britain even though I'm at war with Spain and France.

I don't care about insane graphics, I want the goddamn gameplay. Rome was great, Empire is a failure until they come out with a superpatch that I will probably have to pay for as well. Plus it runs on Steam, the gaming program that crashes every other hour.

Jesus f*cking Christ, where do I begin with this piece of sh*t?

I could just rant about how their reviews blow my balls and that their retrospectives of classic games are about as insightful as a 14 year old Narutard giving tips on how to get laid. But what bothers me most is their complete f*cking lack of honesty, they'll praise a game that was on one console, and then when the same game is ported to another console, even if it has tons of new content, they will completely disregard everything they said before and trash it.

So basically their opinions constantly change depending on whatever the trends are. Oh and did I forget to mention how much corporate c*ck these assh*les will suck just to get exclusive previews of games? How much you say? A lot.

They give overly generous reviews to every overhyped game, they'll pretty much praise any mediocre game if the price is right. Seriously, they actually FIRED A GUY and get this, because he actually had the balls to call Kane and Lynch a lousy game. And yeah, I'm sure it was just a coincidence that Eidos Interactive spent tons of cash to have ad placements on that site.

It's not at all unusual for them to call a game bad for having the same flaws as a game they'll give a 9 or 10 too. They don't even give a damn about how f*cking hypocritical they are, they're laughing all the way to the bank.

Now despite all my ranting about the reviews, I gotta be fair, everything else is just as bad. Don't even get me started on the forum, sweet mother of god I have never seen such a high concentration of total f*ckwads. And the mods have a much deserved reputation of being power abusing jackasses.

Since just about every member of this site has the IQ of a brick, it makes you wonder what the average user reviews are like.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle

I know what your thinking. "Who does this simpsons_28 think she is trashing one of sonic's best games!"

The original Sonic Adventure 2 was one of the dreamcast's best titles. It was fun addictive. And had a at least passable storyline. But this,this, is when you take a super dump. And it crawls right back up! first they leave everything the same. The graphics are still outdated. (Especially on the gamecube!) and all they added was. Get this. Some multiplayer levels. Yeah like we really want to play Multiplayer in a Sonic game! We want to run fast!
PROS:
Sonic and Shadow still have good levels.
Good music.
The single player is still good.
CONS:
But still outdated.
The collecting levels still suck.
As with the shooting.

So Sonic adventure 2 for dreamcast was a really great 3-D platformer. But this is just a cheap attmept at making a quick buck off us long time sonic fans who think were getting bonus content. So really SA2 Battle is terrible. Just go out and buy the dreamcast version for real sonic gameplay.

But I think gamespots user reviews are quite exceptional in their sh*ttiness. It's not out of the usual for me to find a gamespot user review so stupid it goddamn nearly makes me have a stroke.
