Man, it must be me or something. I always find Fallout games very difficult. I'm only level 5 and I've already ran into a big fuck off Super Mutant in the Wasteland with a missile launcher, and all I have is a bloody hunting rifle.
Anyway in terms of atmosphere the game definitely lives up to it's predessors, Galaxy Radio is awesome. |

If you have the hunting rifle in good condition, two shots to the head will knock down most super mutants |

most of the complaints i've read in regards to the difficulty seem to stem from people seeing a first person perspective and trying to play the game like a typical shooter. the fallout games have always required gamers to think rather than twitch. dunno if it's just that i've played them too much but i find this one to be the easiest of the bunch so far. ...and the sheriff's son does NOT give me a house. i know he's 'supposed' to but none of the dialog options result in a house for me. anyone have any suggestions on a safe location to leave my stuff at? |
