Ha! I love it!

I came in here ready to post about Civ only to see that everyone else has the right idea.

I'm unfortunately so busy right now that I have no time for games, but if I did - I'd be playing Civ4 right now. (One..... more..... turn..)

And New Super Mario Bros For Wii.. Not a big console guy (although I do own an old NES that I occasionally boot up for Contra and Super Contra), but my roommate has it and it's ridiculously fun. I do have some time for New Super Mario Bros..

To me, this is what makes it the clear winner. It's an absolutely gorgeous game to look at, and its graphics give it a completely different tone than Civilization 2. I may be wrong, but it really felt like a larger game than CIV2. I certainly found it more addictive than CIV 2.

Speaking of Civilization, anyone play the console versions of Civilization Revolution? I only have the DS version, but I must say, they do a damn fine job of bringing it to a handheld.

I played the DS version earlier this week. Only had one game but was impressed. Not tried it for iPhone. Interested in the Facebook version that comes out next year.

There's a Facebook version? Damn, I know what I'll be doing come next year.

Yeah, not a lot has been revealed but apparently it will be free and have all the features available rather than a dumbed down version.

I still hope a full 5th version is on the cards at some point.

I really need to get back into the proper series. I won't have much time for homework, though. :D

I'm only just getting back into it, forgot a ton of the features etc.

I found a nice intro game written by one of the testers, which is interesting to read and it walks you through all the features as and when you need them.

Hey... is anyone else having problems with steam? Mine won't open and I'm wondering if it's just me or if it's down for everybody, cause I think there have been times in the past where that happened.

Mine's fine but been open for several hours.

More refined graphics dosen't always mean better graphics though.

I still don't think Gran Turismo 5 is as colorful and pretty as say, F Zero for the SNES.

I haven't played the Civilization games sad to say, though I have played Pharaoh which was a really fun game, it's pretty much the same type of game but with a purely Egyptian theme.

I'd say give that one a try.
