The game appears to punish you for being in first place, making for some definite balancing issues. I also didn't like the fact that there wasn't that many new courses - it was fun to see some of the old, classic tracks re-emerge but after the quality of courses in Double Dash I felt that the selection was quite poor this time round.

Yeah, I haven't played Mario Kart Wii yet. Of all the Mario Kart games, Double Dash was my favorite, but I don't have it anymore.

Recently I got a DS, Mario Kart DS was the first game I got, it's awesome, has a huge variety of modes and stuff to do, a lot of classic tracks from previous game. However, despite all the stuff to do and stuff to unlock it dosen't have as much replay value as Double Dash or other games in the series, I think it's because they all have better AI, the easy mode isn't ridiculously easy and hard mode isn't ridiculously hard, which is the case with MK DS.

Also to play multiplayer I have to get some link cable which I don't have and it would be pointless anyway because I don't know anybody else who owns a DS AND the game. Bummer. :(

Despite these complaints, it still kicks ass to have some Mario Kart on the go.

Oh yeah, and another con about Mario Kart Wii... it doesn't allow multiplayer in the Grand Prix mode.

Well, I'm currently playing Persona 3. The thing's that I took a break from it after I got frustrated. I guess I'm just bad at this game because it's relatively easy, but... I keep dying :/

Replaying an oldie but a goodie, The Neverhood, one of my favourite childhood memories when it comes to games. Claymation graphics ftw!

Got a great soundtrack to boot

Just about the best timekiller ever. Helps you get into new albums if you've got this going at the same time too, which is alright I guess.

This is a fun game with a great visual style that's miles ahead of the previous entries in the series. It does have a couple drawbacks though. The first is the major frame rate problem that frequently makes gameplay pretty sluggish. The second is the writing, which unfortunately isn't nearly as clever as it thinks it is and somewhat undermines the game's otherwise extremely entertaining premise.

Didn't it set some sort of record for being the most profane game in existance?
