I usually have alot of fun with the Bethesda games, but I just couldn't get into New Vegas. Guess I'ma just stick to Oblivion and cross my fingers for them to make Elder Scrolls V.

I rented Smackdown Vs. Raw 2011 for Wii and it wasn't very good. I'm gonna pick it up for PS3 when I have the oppurtunity to do so, I have a feeling it'll be alot more fun; the screenshots and gameplay videos for the PS and Xbox versions look great.

well shit...

i managed to get myself shunned at the vegas north gate. i'm contemplating a new game because those robots are not kidding around.

but the game is pretty great, aside from some misc bugs.

Damn, you're fast-tracking your first play through huh?
I haven't even gotten to the quest that brings me directly to New Vegas. I do a lot of sidequests... and I made the mistake of learning how to play Caravan and completely taking people's money... it's too easy. I'm up to 9,000 caps just from one night of playing Caravan. And it's too tempting not to buy ammo from them when they run out of money, just so you can get it all back by winning at Caravan. hehe... Obsidian made a big mistake right thur.

Did you get vilified or something, or just fail some speech checks?

i'm basically a serial killer/thief. i'm not really sure how i pissed off the robots, but they sure as shit are. maybe theres something i can do to get un-shunned.

edit: i killed 1 securitron and got his key, they killed all the robots/ncrs in the first area. after that I went and got quests from mr. house , then they left me alone.

You have to do good things for their faction by completing their quests, in their favor. I haven't come across any robot quests yet, so I don't know if there are any. But the robots themselves aren't really a faction I don't think. Particularly the ones connected to Vegas... they're a part of what's his name, who pretty much runs Vegas as far as I know. As far as all the Mr. Handy's and Protectrons and guard bots and all, they shouldn't be in any factions. They're typically just programmed to behave in a certain way in a certain place. Those robots like the one that dug you out of your grave are totally different and part of some faction in Vegas. Like I said, I haven't gotten there yet, so I'm not sure.
One thing is for certain, New Vegas isn't like Fallout 3 in the sense that you can just run around killing everyone. In New Vegas, your actions have wider-reaching consequences than just a karma rating, but I can be pretty certain that pissing off either the NCR, the Legion, or the Powder Gangers wouldn't have had an effect.

Silent Hill 2. Yeah I'm a bit behind with gaming, but i've got loads of PS2 classics ready and waiting.

Having not found it too scary since the opening journey from your car into silent hill, I've just arrived at the 'alternate' hospital **** IS STARTING TO GET REAL.:shycouch:

I've just turned it off in frustration though, having spunked loads of ammo and health kits/drinks. I'll have to go from a previous save and be a bit more er. . conservative.

^ If you want an excellent horror-adventure, try out Resident Evil 4. One of my all-time favorites

I think I said this elsewhere in this thread but I can't even make it past the first level in that game. Way too hard for my tastes.

i died the first time too. at the village you need to go inside a house to protect from the hordes of zombies. they are much more manageable inside.
