I never actually played it back in the day. I'm quite entertained by their character creation system though. I can't think of many modern games that aren't made by Bethesda that put that much thought or effort into character creation.

I have the same unfair opinion of Arena. I never got out of the starter dungeon! In fact : Quote:
Getting out of the first dungeon in Daggerfall is easy, at least with the help of youtube videos like the one I posted earlier. It should only take a very few minutes. edit : By the way, something I love about Daggerfall is that you can go inside a store and then wait (using wait function) until night time. Then, the store owner will have left and you can steal anything. After stealing, you just wait again until it's day and then you can sell the stuff back if you like :D |
well, then, i think that's why I rated Arena higher than Daggerfall

Xenosaga II
holy mary mother of crap! this is actually better than its sequel - action-packed from the get-go and the storyline's a lot easier to understand Naval Ops : Commander a sequel that improves Warship Gunner in every way - more intuitive controls, less hassle navigating, solid gold, easy action and the shipbuilding is much easier now and also the research doesn't have as much icons as before - classy! |
Anybody looking forward to the upcoming The Secret World game, looks great and I'm very intrigued about it.

The company, FunCom, did put out what I guess is my favourite MMORPG of all time, Anarchy Online. The game mechanics are deeply flawed, but what an atmosphere and setting that game had, although it might feel a bit dated today I guess. |
