I tried getting a PS1 emulator to work for a couple days, failed, gave up, started using a DS emulator with no problems. What happened to the good ol' days when you could just download an emulator and begin using it without a manual?

Technology evolves. People who make the emulators have to change their process due to how technology works now. I remember when it used to be easy as well but its still not impossible.

It should be easier nowadays to find one, if you look hard enough there should be one that comes with everything already installed.

On Project64 you can configure any USB controller to work with the ROMs. Finding good ROMs now however has proven to be a major problem.

The technology that was used to make the old game systems won't evolve with the new technology.

Is it any good? I've been thinking of getting it now that the price has dropped. I didn't enjoy the last game in the series and that's been putting me off. I was also worried it would be a buggy mess in need of patching (again, like the last game) - a problem that plagues too many videogames these days and puts me off buying anything on release.

Installing the F2P Wildstar re-launch. Looks like a ton of fun.
