Could have made a small fortune. But then again, who wants to keep shelves full of **** standing around on the off chance that it becomes valuable.
I'm still mad that I sold or got rid of games I now want to replay tbh. Do you have any idea how much I want to replay Yoshi's Island on an actual SNES?

Ooh yeah, that's a bitch. Like all Nintendo stuff, it's probably really expensive now. EDIT: Not to mention how hard it is to get a working Snes for a fair price these days.

I still feel silly about basically buying all Dynasty Warriors games from 2-5 and Samurai Warriors 1 and 2 twice, because past me didn't realize how much fun they would still be years down the line, after the occasional break. Those games are cheap enough to buy, but still. I've been more careful with getting rid of games since then.

My new rule is **** trade-ins unless I'm just done with a game that was okay at best. I'll happily accumulate way too many games and not give a ****. If my 360 dies then I'll shelve all those games no matter how long it is till I get a new console. I miss my Dynasty/Samurai/Gundam Warriors games terribly, not to mention the first two Saints Row games and Tomb Raider: Legends. Thank god for Gundam Warriors 3 and Saints Rows 3 and 4.

My rule these days is that if I can't come up with a credible argument for why I'd never play the game again, it stays. I don't play as much as I used to, but I still have a 360, ps1, ps2, sega master system and even an old atari 2600. I've learned enough that I know getting rid of too much of it would be a mistake.

Just recently I played a lot of Outrun 2006 - a game that I hadn't touched for years - and it was great.

I mostly just get rid of outright bad or bland games.

Bless you, child. My SNES and N64 were in pretty poor shape so they got chucked along with my games, which I regret, at least for the games. My NES got its power cord chewed through by my awesomely douchebag hamster on one of his many Houdini escapes, and it was well into the 90s so I couldn't even find a replacement, so in the trash that went too, and I think I gave a bunch of games to a friend who collects old games BUT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE AN NES. FML. Oh yeah and some ******* at military school stole my Playstation 1. ****.

I'd make everyone else rage quit that game. I love playing gimmicky, annoying tactics like that.
