The TV show is so terrible, but it's probably one of my favorite manga.

I just read Book 1 of Alan Moore's Promethea and was pretty impressed. I just recently discovered that our public library system has over 4,000 graphic novels in their collection. I got Batman: The Killing Joke, Swamp Thing Reunion, and Franks Miller's Dark Knight Returns on my waitlist.

I was thinking about getting this series, mostly just because I like the artwork though...but now that I know it's a good read, it's a sure thing. 'Thanks!

For Christmas I got Jack Kirby's The Demon hardcover and I have to say it kicks ass. Many years ago I had the original series and sold it, and always regretted it, and I forgot what a kickass tale it is.

At the moment DC only have it in hardcover, but it is worth every penny!!

Kirby Rules!!

I recently just got a ****load of comics, which are:

Batman: The Long Halloween
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns
Batman: Year One
Saga of the Swamp Thing
Cthulhu Tales: Tainted
Brooklyn Dreams
Light Brigade
Blood

I'm reading the Long Halloween right now. It's very interesting, and has a unique take on the art and writing; it's very Noir, which is what they were going for.

I like Squee. That was a pretty good comic. I think it's by the same person, since Johnny was in a part of it.

It is. Squee is pretty good, but I like the morbid humour of JTHM.
