Seriously? We're turning this into a fucking philosophy class?

Am I the only one here that reads for pleasure? I have enough work to be done during the school year; I don't need to spend my time poring over antediluvian texts just to satiate some morbid inferiority complex.

I like reading things interesting, and philosophy fits under that. I read the Subtle Knife last night even though it's a borderline kids books. I read The Golden Compass I was in 7th grade and I just saw the movie, so I wanted to read the sequel. It's like Harry Potter without magic, but more spiritual and religious based.

Don't hate on Dan Brown. Anyone that gets the Catholic church up in arms is cool in my book

My copy is less than 100 pages.

There are easier ways to do that than re-writing the same trashy thriller over and over again. Though to be fair he did keep me reading...

Cool. I was hoping it was less than 300 pages but that's even better.

No, I'm guessing posting on MB more than does the trick.
