If Seinfeld revolved mainly around George then I would like it more maybe then.

I also just like the premise of Curb. How something small he does at the beginning of each episode comes around to bite him in the ass near the end. The whole karma concept is what I love. Seinfeld isn't about karma as far as I know.

Actually Seinfeld had a knack of having a seperate plot and story for each character that somehow would end up crossing over into one another by the end of an episode. And George Costanza was all about karma. There is an episode of Curb where Larry feels like when he does bad things, good things to happen to him and vice-versa, before it ultimately kicks him in the face. This is basically just taking what he did with George first, who was the character he wrote very close to himself in real life.

Maybe I will give Seinfeld another try but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like it....and I'm watching it again with the knowledge that I already don't like it/get some of the jokes.

I just love Seinfeld - the comedy flows very naturally and doesn't seem to be orchestrated at all, whereas with something like Friends, there tend to be over-acting and exaggeration

Because they're so caught up in the pointless minutiae of life (the nothing) that they have ceased to be rational, well adjusted individuals.

Right now I'm watching some Adventure Time.

I agree, this show is brilliant. I've never seen better acting on cable television. I have the 1st season on DVD, but haven't been able to find the 2nd out here yet. But believe me, when I do, I'm buying it. I can't wait to see what season 2 has in store.

This is a tidal wave of a generalization, it's about so much more than meth. It's about a man that has been backed into a corner by life, and is learning how to fight back. The acting alone is good enough to warrant a watch, even if you don't agree with the drug related backdrop.

the two best shows on TV right now are Breaking Bad and Mad Men. both are way beyond anything else right now. they are already all-timers for me.

^Yes! AMC is the new channel for TV shows. You should check out Walking Dead, also on AMC. The first season was only six episodes but still really good. Even if your not into zombies, it's still worth a watch. Also nice avatar.

^^totally blase about zombies here
