Don't go spoiling it for me!

lol I wont, dont worry. I found I got quite emotionally attached to alot of the characters. There wasnt really a good vs bad either, the whole show portrayed the fact that all people can be good and bad, and its about your perspective to what they've done that decides whether its good or bad.

Whale Wars

The new season of "Whale Wars" started last week, they have three different vessels to fight the illegal whaling in the south seas this year. Go Sea Shepherds!

How did i miss this. I love this show. I'm a big fan of pbs Masterpiece theater in general. This show is very well done in all aspects. I seem to be watching bits and pieces of it as It comes on during another show i like, i'll have to start DVR'ing it.

It's incredible. I really like the interaction between the maids/servants and the family. OMG tonight I'm watching the episode where Mary is being called out for being not virtuous and has to marry quickly. I'm nervous to see what will happen. You almost feel apart of the family themselves. Each character has really distinct personalities which is another reason it is well done.

I went to a talk that their leader gave at my school. Was neat.

I think it would be a good ideal if somehow members here at MB could pledge a dollar, or something that would help the Sea Shepard's stop this madness of killing whales.

I agree its very involved and the characters have so much depth. You can tell the actors are very well seasoned and classically trained in acting. I really like alot of the characters and find it addicting to watch. The guy who plays Mr Carson i have seen in a million things, i find his nostalgic look at things interesting. I also like that he has taken on Lady Mary as a surrogate. Have you checked out the Q&A'S at the pbs site? Makes me respect the actors even more that they come across so polished as people in general.

BBC - BBC Two Programmes - The Shadow Line

I have only watched the first episode but this is definitely something different from the BBC. Oblique, thought provoking, frustrating and even avant garde in it's approach.

Looking forward to catching up on the rest of it via catch up ( there is only one or two episodes left on terrestrial TV).
