Linda keeps raving on OA but the few bits I've seen look like re-treads of bits and pieces from stuff that's already been done to death by now. Any fans of the show? Is it worth a try?

I personally didn’t like it for whatever that’s worth

I hate LOTR (movies not books) and Stranger Things - it’s a lot like Stranger Things bad but unlike Stranger Things I watched two seasons of AO - I kept foolishly thinking it might pay off - the finale was so retarded I literally killed myself

Just watched Shrill - it’s a sorry Girls rip off

bad bad bad

LOTR films versus books is a wash. With the movies you have an squeaky clean presentation but somewhat interesting story. With the books you have an incredibly bland writing style full of unnecessary detail but somewhat interesting story.

Maybe it was the 25 years between when I read the books and suffered through one of those movies

Finally really watching Rick and Morty by the way

So great

That would make it necessary.

It's a lot easier to produce a good movie than it is to direct one.
