I guess my list is generic, but here goes:

1. Wall-E (Possibly my favourite movie ever! ^^)
2. The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button (Great, although a bit too similar to Forrest Gump.)
3. The Wrestler (Great, sad, beautiful. Lots of great scenes.)
4. The Reader (Awesome, interesting and.. worth thinking about.)
5. Slumdog Millionaire (I think the ending is just.. cliché, but the rest was great.)

300.

I'm not sure if it was released in 2007 or 2008, but I know it came out on DVD in 2008.

And my god, is it brilliant. The best film I have ever seen.

Why is Wall- E getting so much love? it failed when the story left Earth.

You failed.

I think it would have been better if it didn't start focusing on the humans and had less dialogue like the first half. But it's still a brilliant, highly imaginative and even touching film. Best pixar film ever. ****1/2 out of ****
