^^^ Re: Inglorious Basterds [can't post URLs yet... (!)]

I've been a bit tentative to see this movie. It's got so many mixed reviews and I'm not sure how much I'll warm to a trivialisation of holocaust. But then again, I haven't seen it yet. I think I'll have to give it ago, if not because I love Pulp Fiction so much.

Anyway, movies I'm looking forward to are (as mentioned before) Where the Wild Things Are and Picture Me. The latter is a documentary made by model Sara Ziff. I read about it in the Guardian and it seems quite interesting. The article mainly focussed on its portrayal of sexual abuse in the fashion industry but from other promos I've seen online it covers a few other topics as well, though this one sounds the most interesting.

Oh, I can't wait to see Anti-Christ, I love Lars Von Trier, Dogville and Dancer in the Dark are two of my all-time favorite films, and while I'm sad that Washington will probably never be made, Anti-Christ looks amazing.

As for the main movie I'm ready to come out already: Where the Wild Things Are (Spike Jonze)

District 9 - I don't know anything about it other than what I saw in the preview, but it looks like it might turn out to be a half decent sci-fi flick. Or at the very least some good old fashioned mind-numbing action. I'm a sucker for anything with aliens in it.

I'm waiting for this as well.
I saw a pretty long trailer that included a bit more than the TV one, and I'm definitely interested in seeing this in the theater. There's some wicked scenes from what I can tell.
Dunno how far the plot can go, but it's well enough for good enjoyment I suppose.
