Saw the movie trailer a few weeks back. Definitely gonna be worth watching in 3-D. If they can make it half as enthralling as the book they have got a winner.

Pretty cool poster. What do you think of all the rumors about script conflicts between Abrams and Michael Arndt, with Abrams ditching Arndt's script that focuses on the apprentices and children of the original trilogy characters in favor of making the original trilogy characters the main ones?

No, I haven't heard those rumors.

The only thing I've heard is that the script is done and that he was working on it with Lawrence Kasdan. The guy that wrote "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi."

Zwischen Welten (Inbetween worlds) seems to be an amazing movie.
It'll be shown at the Berlinale this year, and the trailer is promising.
Basically the plot is about a German soldier Jesper who is in Afghanistan to protect a remote village from the Taliban.
The soundtrack is made by Jan A.P. Kaczmarek

Just found out Duncan Jones is directing the Warcraft movie so now I'm actually really looking forward to it.

looking forward to this more than anything:

Talk about maybe one of the best movie trailers I've ever seen.

Warcraft? The original was a RTS game and now it's MMORPG. Do either of those genres actually lend themselves to a movie? It's always weird to me just how many good fantasy series get overlooked while all the dull garbage gets made into movies. Not that I'm throwing Warcraft into that category, just an odd choice for a fantasy movie that got me to thinking about other odd choices.

Yes, I heard about this while watching a panel discussion he was on at Blizzcon last year. The great part of it is that he's an avid WoW player so I'm pretty sure he will do it justice.

There are so many stories within the Warcraft lore universe to the point that they are constantly releasing novels based off of different lore.

The movie is going to take it back to the basics of being Humans Vs. Orcs. They are going to include some of the major characters like Durotan and Lothar. I hope Arathas gets mentioned or has some kind of role but I don't know the early stories too well to know if he was around during that time.
