U betcha! Nice to know that I'm not the only one investing time in cult movies!

Is it too early to say that The Hangover is overrated? Everyone keeps raving about how good it is.

I thought it was ****...

american history x- remove the prison rape scene and some boobies and you have a typical made for tv movie.

Terminator 4 because, like 3, it was a huge commercial for the next in the series, no message, no inspiration - I didn't leave wanting to be a robot or a resistence fighter or a combination of both, unlike those movies that really move you, like all movies involving martial arts and those with a sincere motivation, message, or punchline.

I also wasn't too impressed with superbad, it's pretty overrated, though everyone and their cousin praises it like it was the next major leap in comedy - but how was it any different than something as classic as Porky's? Just because they can cram in more four-letter words, does that make it funnier? Me thinks not.

That's what I mean-remove the titilating violent or sexual parts and you have a made for tv movie in terms of dialogue and overall plot.

I have to agree with you guys on The Hangover. I mean, I actually liked the movie, but still have to admit it's overrated. The reason people are flipping out is because good comedies are so hard to come by these days. Like, even though The Hangover wasn't fantastic, it was probably one of the best comedies of the past 10 years. It's great, compared to crap... but it's not everything people are saying it is.

Overrated, but one of the best comedies of the last 10 years?

You've gotta be kidding me

There have been great comedies in the last 10 years.

How about

American Pie
Meet the Parents
Anchorman
Dodgeball
The 40 Year Old Virgin
Superbad
Knocked Up
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Hot Rod
School of Rock

I could go on and on.

The Hangover doesn't look funny from previews, and Wedding Crashers and Tropic Thunder were both overrated. I laugh more while I'm taking a sh it than I did watching those movies.

You know what's overrated? Any ninja movie. People talk all about how good all these ninja movies are, when really they suck. A real sweet Ninja movie couldn't even be made, because real sweet ninja's would flip out and kill the whole crew, Commando style except with swords not guns.

They wouldn't take any crap from some stupid producer--they'd be too busy making wicked love with all the hot girls in the movie, and whack the producer over the head with their ninja boy parts and say "shut up, man, or I'll flip out!" They have ULTIMATE POWER.
