Sexism ftw!

Despite being a chick, he's truly one of the most loathsome directors to make films.. Although I have a soft spot for Bridget Jones' diary. As far as light hearted chick flicks go anyway.

I liked Bridget Jones' Diary and I like Renee Zelweger in everything she does.

Curtis is more of a writer though, he only has two directing credits. Bridget Jones isn't one of them.

Ah, I thought he was the director of Notting Hill, Bridget Jones, Love Actually etc.

I've not seen her in that much so I don't really have an opinion on her but she seems decent enough.

Mmmm.... picking favorites is tricky, but I'll try.

Pedro Almodovar
Robert Altman
Billy Wilder
Ingmar Bergman
Wong Kar-Wai
Krzysztof Kieslowski
Joel & Ethan Coen
David Cronenberg
Francis Ford Coppola
Quentin Tarantino

Although I can easily think of 10-20 more (many of whom I'm seeing on other's lists) whose work I tend to enjoy.
