BLOODY SPOILERS OLD BEAN!

I think Daniel might live (hopefully), as for a while I was pissed because I thought they killed off Locke (when Ben shot him into the pit). And as for this undoing business, I doubt it will work. We still got 20 episodes left and I doubt they'll all be about the quest to undo things.

I'm depressed at the very prospect of Daniel dying, but satasfied with this episodes many answers. Also, Widmore being the father.. :yikes:

boo boo 04-29-2009 10:55 PM

The WHAT?

I missed that part because it was interupted by an amber alert.

Son of JayJamJah 04-29-2009 10:57 PM

Spoilers possible

I think Daniel is dead, but he's booked as part of the cast for the final season. There is a lot of his story still untold. We have the start and the finish, but his time in Ann Arbor is still a mystery and lets also remember he planned to change the future and that Eloise Hawking was willing to let the events play out again for the overall "good".

I little Razor Love for you 2Boo

Faraday is gone, but not forgotten.

He is as tonight's episode suggests a variable and like his constant Desmond, he will have the final say in some way shape or form. Does someone carry out his plan and detonate the bomb...? Is this the Incident? So much more to go... hang in there.

Oh man that's brutal. But yeah Widmore and Ms. Hawking are Daniel's father.

Anybody notice that Jack has gotten to be pretty good with a gun lately? Last night I thought I was watching 24.

Double X 05-04-2009 08:48 PM

So pumped for Thursday. That will be the finale correct?

SugarRush 05-04-2009 09:40 PM

^Um actually LOST episodes typically appear on Wednesday not Thursday, and the two-part finale is actually next week. So, I 'm afraid you have quite a few facts wrongs unless you are referring to some other show...

So my lack of an avatar causes you to not take threats with the greatest level of seriousness as it rightfully deserves? How very superficial of you...Just for that I will cease to add an avatar.

Are we talking spoilers in here?

someonecompletelyrandom 05-06-2009 12:21 PM

Just add a warning.. can't wait for tonight!

someonecompletelyrandom 05-06-2009 09:42 PM

Don't read the following few posts unless you have watched the show

John Locke is going to KILL Jacob!? And what's up with Jack trying to blow everyone to hell?

Double X 05-08-2009 06:46 AM

^ I know seriously. that took me by surprise so much.

Maybe we will finally understand what Jacob is.

someonecompletelyrandom 05-08-2009 02:29 PM

Locke has returned to the awesome Character he was in Season 1! Only he knows what's going on and he's the one confusing Ben!

CAPTAIN CAVEMAN 05-08-2009 07:39 PM

yea **** jacob

someonecompletelyrandom 05-11-2009 08:57 PM

Two more days....

SugarRush 05-11-2009 09:14 PM

omfg, so excited for the 2-hour LOST finale. :D

boo boo 05-13-2009 09:24 PM

O_o

Wow, what a season finale. I'm so pumped for the final season now.

dac 05-13-2009 09:46 PM

What an episode...

Lost: A Theory on Time Travel

^That's probably the best theory I've found on Lost

someonecompletelyrandom 05-13-2009 10:09 PM

Major Spoilers Ahead

Those theories always seem to be proven wrong the very next week their posted. But only time will tell.

Holy crap it was a good show! I'm so pissed about waiting until 2010 and the fact that Locke may have actually died (which to me would make his entire character's history meaningless).

I'm glad Rose and Bernard's story arc was finally sealed, I'm happy they are happy and out of the picture.

boo boo 05-13-2009 10:20 PM

SPOILERS:

I think it's really Locke, he just has a different body.

Maybe that's how the dead come back to life, like Jack's father.

HUGE SPOILERS:

No that is not Locke. The Locke we all know and love is really dead, in the crate that the "Good People" have been carrying. Locke's body was taken over by the guy that we saw in the very first scene talking to Jacob on the beach. The guy in the black shirt says "one day I will fine a LOOPHOLE and come back and kill you." Well Locke is that loophole. Which is why at that last scene at the statue Locke/ Whoever the hell that man really is was saying that he found his loophole and kicked him into the fire.

I believe next season will explain much more about Jacob and what everyone on the islands purpose is.

someonecompletelyrandom 05-14-2009 04:25 PM

I just hope Locke comes back in some form (as himself). He is too good of a character and I have put far too much faith in him to be strangled by bugeyed Ben!

Shit! I did not even think of that...good stuff mate.

Watching Juliet fall down that well made me so sad...that must be a scary way to lose someone, watching them fall down a huge hole and hearing them scream.

Son of JayJamJah 05-14-2009 08:47 PM

So season six is the struggle between light and dark. Jacob with a white shirt, light hear and eyes a light beard vs. "Do you know how bad I want to kill you guy" and his dark hair, eyes and beard and shirt of course.

Reminds me of the first episode when Locke explains backgammon to Walt.

"Two sides, light and dark..."

someonecompletelyrandom 05-15-2009 11:46 AM

White and Black have always been a theme on the show. Like Adam and Eve (the skelitons Jack and Kate found in the caves) were holding black and white rocks.

By the way, I'm almost 100% positive that Adam and Eve are Rose and Bernard. They lived a long life and died together.

In fact i've obscured the whole thread so the only thing I can see is the reply box.

The finale is great especially the part where Jack spits on his hand and ooh wait that was brokeback mountain.

Double X 05-15-2009 03:16 PM

Spoiler

Since that wasn't really Locke, Ben got really duped (especially since I thought he worshiped Jacob).

As Jacob was dying he said to 'Locke' "They are coming". What the fuck does that mean?

Also I thought the flashbacks of Sawyer and Juliet were kinda lame, how directly they affected the actions in the episode.

mannny 05-22-2009 11:18 PM

I know I'm late but that season finale was unbelievably good.

Spoiler

I just heard this theory from this crazy LOST nerd and I've been obsessed with it. Basically he thinks that Jacob and his enemy are some kind of gods like leaders of the universe and Jacob believes that all humans are naturally good, his enemy believes that all humans are naturally bad. Jacob brings people to the Island to try and prove his point to his enemy but he's been unsuccessful for so long and now the oceanic people have like gotten far in his test so the enemy decides to kill Jacob to win. I think it's a great theory and makes a lot of sense... obviously doesn't answer every question.

someonecompletelyrandom 05-23-2009 08:26 PM

That is a great theory actually. But I would like to believe that there is atleast some kind of scientific backing to it. Just passing every question off with something mythologic like that just seems to irk me. But hey, they've made crazier things work.

mannny 05-25-2009 12:32 AM

Yeah I agree. It would be really disapointing if they just said like "oh yeah it's just all magical" and they made no attempt to explain things. But I really just like the idea that Jacob and his enemy represent the constant conflict between good and evil.

Urban Hat€monger ? 05-25-2009 09:00 AM

If that's how they end it i'll put my foot through the TV at having wasted 6 years of my life. That sounds like the worst kind of Good vs Evil cliched Hollywood B-movie crap ever.

I'd rather they didn't explain it at all than have that as a reveal.

dac 05-25-2009 02:29 PM

I don't think it will end up being magical and what not. They're far to invested in scientific explanations and such to go down that road.

boo boo 05-25-2009 06:10 PM

You remember that alternate reality game The Lost Experience? Which had to do with the Hanso Foundation? Which was referenced in the first episode of season 2?

I wonder if that will come back to light in the final season.

someonecompletelyrandom 05-25-2009 07:50 PM

According to the writers, all you will need to understand the show is the show itself. All that other stuff is just extra LOSt for the hardcore fanboys (like myself). Plus, all TLE talked about mostly had to do with Dharma and The Hanso Foundation. Which we now know more about than we will ever need to.

EDIT: See you all in Feb. :)
