Only Wii game I've used the wiimote for and thought a regular controller would work better was Brawl, which was intended to be played with a GC controller anyway.
Generally, I have nothing against the 360, it has some pretty sweet games. If I talk sh*t about it, it's just in retaliation to all the 360 fanboys who've made an obsessive habit out of badmouthing the Wii. It's lame that people have to pick one console and just say the others have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I mean, can you believe there's still Super Nintendo fanboys who say the Sega Genesis didn't have one good game for it? It's been almost 20 years and people are still fighting over that. It's f*cking ridiculous.
