So that's decrepit, as opposed to just playing the same damn shooters over and over?

I think the Wii has a strong if modest library of good games. Brawl, Galaxy, TP, MP3, Super Paper Mario, Okami, Mario Kart Wii, etc.

The thing is, from the start the Wii was the most affordable, theorefore appealing to lower income families like mine, people who can't blow their money on 30 goddamn games a week, like all the spoiled rich douchebags that make up a good bulk of the gaming community.
But the point I'm making is that library of games is just a continuation from previous consoles (except for Okami which was totally ****ing awesome). I mean where is Mario going to go after Galaxy? Once you've gone into space everything else just seems like a step back, and it even seems like Nintendo has acknowledged this by just doing an expansion of what they've already done. You make a good point about shooters, believe me man I'm about ready to just give up on video games because every one just seems to be disappointment and disappointment, each just a tired rip off of something else (see [Prototype] and inFAMOUS). Other than the endless stream of 3rd party casual games released for the Wii, I think it's a pretty decent console itself. My only real complaint with Nintendo is their treading on old ground, something I eventually came to realize after I bought my Gamecube back in 2003 when the only games I really found myself playing were the usual suspects of Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario, Metroid Prime, and Zelda.
