Default Zombieland

Great film or...the greatest film?

Saw it tuesday and wednesday night. I think from start to finish it was brilliant, almost solely because it knew the line between horror and camp and exploited it well.

Zombieland never makes pretensions, and it knows what people find funny and it goes for it, unabashedly.

Thoughts friends?

I can't wait to see it and I am pleased with your brief description of it. Too often do I see reviews where critics have stated that the movie has 'avoided the obvious joke', and it often makes me think, why would you want to avoid it?

A pleasant brew of a film. No thought provocation, no ulterior political message, just stupid fun with a ziplock conclusion. So yes I enjoyed it.

I've only seen it once but pretty much agree with everything you said.
I also noticed that Jesse Eisenburg does the Michael Cera shtick better than Michael Cera does.

I saw it monday night all by my lonesome, and it was freakin hilarious... Bill god damn Murray! Those 5 minutes were the best part of the entire film.

My friends saw it, but I still haven't gotten around to seeing it due to my unparalleled laziness. I'll watch it in three years when it's shown on tv.

It turn out to be as good as it was chalked up to be for me. Mr. Murray was brilliant, though.
