I am offended that these two sagas are even being compared. And that the Harry Potter and Twilight 'freaks' were deemed similar! it's a whole different generation of people...

I agree they can't be comparable, they're both very different, harry potter is very well written and such. I don't like it though, so what use is it to me? Whereas twilight is "badly" written (who concluded this?) but it has something I and alot of people like. And no I don't like it because of sparkly little edward cullen I just like it iin general, yes they are averagely hot and jacob has a body to die for, but thats not why I like it. I read the books and didn't know what they looked like... I used my imagination.

Sorcery doesn't sound as cool as vampirism...

I liked the books when I first read them because it was a craze, but that was it. I tried reading them again but Bella was a bit too pathetic and Edward was just being himself, and the was enough to make me stop liking them.
