ill add the name of carl th dreyer as well. his final run of films, even though they were unfortunately very few and far between, are some of the greatest, most powerful films of all time--la passion de jeanne d'arc, vampyre, day of wrath, ordet, gertrud.

Ooh, Death Proof definitely had its plus points, the idea of having two identical stories was definitely original but it didn't really do it for me. The second half of the story it was like yeah, I get it.. I know what's gonna happen. The ending was pretty predictable too.

Consistent is a funny word. In a way, Michael Bay could be one of the most consistent directors of all time, in that every film he touches ridiculous CG and over-the-top explosions are a guarantee...

Consistent as in consistently good directors. Not Consistently annoying.
