It's an easy Godfather win for me. The Godfather did have a lost more space to develop considering the 3 instalments, where they had to shove Scarface all in the one movie though. Still the characters in GF are better written in comparison, and the story had a lot more depth.

I remember liking both, but I haven't seen either of them since adolescence, so I couldn't give an accurate opinion.
