Best Worst Movies of All Time

Of all time!

Although I do love quality movie making, I don't think there is anything better than finding a terribad movie that is actually enjoyable to watch. Finding the very best of the very worst and sharing it with your mates is a great experience - Nothing ever prepares you for the absolute quality humour that comes with terrible cinema. I tried finding a similar thread via search but couldn't. So, From Z grade to B grade, lets catalogue some of our favourites.

Deadly Prey
The apex of bad Rambo knock-offs, Deadly Prey is pure hilarity. I mean, just looking at the box art, you know it's going to be ****ing awesome.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...deo-Sleeve.png

Storyline? Who gives a damn... But the basic premise is, a group of mercenaries are hired by some bastard, and to 'train' they are to kidnap a bunch of innocent people and then hunt them down after releasing them. Big deal right? Wrong. One of those people is Mike Danton, ex-Vietnam superman. So what happens? Of course Danton just proceeds to fuck them all up one by one. After this he hunts down the boss, who happened to be the very same bloke who trained him in Vietnam!!! Whodathunkit?!?! Either way has some of the most hilarious moments ever. Heres the trailer and a few choice scenes...

It is difficult to fathom just how awesome this movie is. I didn't want to show most of the kills because, hell, thats the reason you watch the damn thing right???

THE ENDING: In **** movies there is always an amazing end. Well it's no different here. Kick arse one on one. Weaponry choices are also amazing. Heck if the rest of the movie was a total qiece of crap, then it would be worth it just for this ending.

**** rating: 10 Twigs out of 10

late 80's typical loser good guy against upper class bad guys flick....but with BMX BIKES!!!!!

"plot"
local paper boy and super "Rad" bmx'er Cru, wants to race with the big boys on the "factory" team especially Bart....of course with Bart is his ex girlfriend Christian, an amateur racer....who just happens to fall in love with Cru....they bike dance to "Send Me An Angel"....yeah BIKE DANCE!

so yeah you can feel the love.....bvut HELLTRACK is in the future....can Cru prove his skills to Christian and defeat the rich "factory" guys....FUCK YEAH... of course he can....but what fun it is watching him try....and he has a continuous game with the local cops....classic

why this has not been re-released is beyond me

I thought you did something similar a few months back? I love crap movies and always will because I KNOW they are crap and I don't expect anything from them. I have a few I will post on soon.

This is one ready for review :)

I did the exploitation thread but it's sorta different. These are jsut plain great/bad movies. But if you think they should be merged, you're the mod.

I have some ****ing doozys in line though.

I guess there's a bigger case for the original but I've never seen it.
I must have seen this movie about 1000 times in my youth.

I never realised George Clooney was in it

There is a scene where a man runs into a "force feild" which burns half his face off, and then runs around for the rest of the movie like that.

I dunno what could really describe this terrible movie. Terrible in a hilarious way of course, Samurai Cop is sort of like a wannabe Lethal Weapon I suppose with some cheesy attempt at 'depth' with the white cop mastering the way of the Samurai. Yeah it really is as bad as you would expect from here on out, but it has some of the worst lines, acting, editing, you name it, which makes it a joy to watch. Other than, I'll let these clips speak for themselves.

Secret dinosaur factory sets loose on a town, with the sheriff and his token hot blonde babe (also totally useless) being the only ones who can save the day. Sh*tty acting, finger-puppet dinosaurs, and plenty of boobs to try and keep the guys interrested - but totally KICK-ASS!

Possibly the most gloriously stupid nonsense ever made. It has lizards made up to look like dinosaurs, a man in a gorilla suit with a diving helmet having wiped out all but 6 people, who live down the road from his house. Hard to argue with that.

Zarko 08-17-2010 08:19 AM

Just bought an Ed Wood collection on DVD today as well, which would suit this thread just fine (Though I suppose all have heard of him [including sucide :p:], so not much point in spruiking him).

I'm surprised (and pleased) that nobody has mentioned Shark Attack 3: Megalodon. It's got boobs a plenty, horrible dialogue, and laughable graphics. It's really one of those movies that the Sci-Fi channel shows at like 10 PM on a Saturday night to all broke stoned people who chose a night in rather than a night at the bar.

And this is the famous line:

Piss Me Off 08-17-2010 09:07 AM

^ The highlight of John Barrowman's career, i'd argue.

Another obvious choice is The Room. It has drama, Danny, unexplained scenes where the characters are wearing tuxedos, Scotchka, 5 minute sex scenes with RnB soundtracks and most importantly incredible editing and script-writing.

LoathsomePete 08-17-2010 09:27 AM

^

I might have to look up The Room. It actually sounds like something I could get into bearing the right circumstances. As far as John Barrowman goes... he's OK in Torchwood.

bob. 08-17-2010 12:05 PM

a friend just sent me a link to the preview....this looks awful.....in such a good way....i say it'll take at least 6 beers to really enjoy

LoathsomePete 08-17-2010 12:12 PM

Haha I forgot about RoboGeisha. I've actually seen Tokyo Gore Police and Machine Girl (I bought the latter for a friend for his birthday), so I might as well add RoboGeisha to my Netflix list.

bob. 08-17-2010 12:13 PM

yeah i've seen both also....stupid movies....tons of fun

I don't know why but everytime this movie comes on, I watch it. It sucks big time though, it is so boring, yet entertaining. It is the perfect zombie parody crap movie.

Santa Clause Conquers the Martians is very low budget and terrible, but it's great!

When you have Netflix, you get to watch a lot of terrible movies. They're also hilarious.

Yes! Used to watch this as a kid and loved it. Haven't seen it in a while but I'm sure it's still good for a laugh.

Are you talking out of the back of your head? You are young so I shall forgive you not noticing the many homages in the film but even in it's own right, it's a well made film treading a fantastic line between horror, humour and pathos. If you think this is crap you should rifle through some of the titles in my film collection. You will think that it's a masterpiece.

I already think it's a masterpiece. One of my favorite scenes is when the guy pulls out Second Coming and chucks it at the zombie.

Best Worst Movie of all time: The Room.

I love how Tommy Wiseau now claims that it was never meant to be taken seriously. I'm not buying it. Poor Tommy Wiseau.

Zarko 09-23-2010 10:57 AM

Nollywood... Where God goes to watch movies.

That's right, kids.

duga 09-23-2010 02:11 PM

Haha...Gary Busy. He tries so hard. I guarantee you he went into that movie thinking he was about to make a quality horror film.

333 09-23-2010 02:16 PM

It was ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Then it was my turn to pull of the J. :)

In that same scene I love this exchange:
"Yes?"
"No!"
