What's it about?

I like The Wire, Dexter, Sopranos... that kind of stuff. Think I'll be interested?

it's mainly about this guy that works for a major ad agency in the 50s and on. they tried to make an accurate representation of what it was like back then; with pervasive sexism, racism, homophobia, alcohol, and cigarettes. i suck at writing, but it's fucking awesome go watch it once you finish seeing breaking bad. you won't be disappointed.

I just started watching this while I work--3 discs through the first season.

It's goddamned amazing. Like, I'm usually a bit wary of TV shows that get really culturally hyped, but this actually surpassed my expectations, at least so far. The writing is amazing--every major character is complex and interesting, even when they're being despicable.

The fashion is great too. Some of those dresses... damn.
