^ Oh, Aronofsky! I'll have to say I disagree with your list, though.

Pi > The Fountain > Black Swan > Requiem For a Dream > The Wrestler

Spielberg didn't direct Back To The Future 3. He was an exec on all 3.

i know that Videodrome is not the best example o9f the amazing eye that Cronenberg possesses....but it is still my favorite and one that i re watch over and over again.....LONG LIVE THE NEW FLESH!!!!

Tobe Hooper

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre > Poltergeist > Invaders From Mars > Lifeforce > The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Toolbox Murders (seriously why?)

i mainly just wanted to bitch about him re-making the classic exploitation film "The Toolbox Murders" and really doing a horrible job at it....i still wonder if it was his revenge for hollywood destroying his classic film
I didn't rate A History Of Violence at all and it felt far too obvious to me how it would pan out. As for Eastern Promises, I thought that was terrible. Videodrome of course has to be number one

I thought Toolbox Murders was half decent to be fair and the original not that great even in a so bad it's good exploitation flick way.

Lifeforce is seriously underated though and not that well known unfortunately

Poltergeist to me always felt like a Spielberg movie all the way and Tobe Hooper's only by name. Well, the story about that production is pretty well known.

Coen Brothers:

Fargo > The Big Lebowski > No Country For Old Men > Raising Arizona > True Grit >> Burn After Reading > Barton Fink > O Brother Where Art Thou >> The Ladykillers

My top 4 are extremely close, actually.

I don't believe I've ever seen Poltergeist II. So it's good? I might see it. I have a soft spot for 80s horror, even for sequels.
