Default The Wonder Years

This is a pretty old show (1988-93), but I hear it was quite popular back then. I started watching it a few months ago, and I love it. It just feels genuine and heartfelt. It captures the whole experience of growing up beautifully. It may not be terribly witty or funny, but it strikes a chord with me. Was anyone else into this show?

I loved that show when I was growing up, and still like it a lot. I'm the same age as Fred Savage so I certainly related to it a lot.

I used to watch it but never really understood why. I think maybe I was crushing on Winnie. I really don't like the show though.

This show was one of my favorites growing up. The music in every episode intertwined with the plot to tell the story was excellent... but it's also sad, because it's the cost of licensing this music for DVD sales that is preventing me from owning the series on a box set. I found reruns on some Directv channel called the "HUB" a month or two back and set a recording to grab it... good for nostalgia to relive it.

Also, I can't be positive but I'm fairly certain Winnie Cooper was my first boner.

Yeah I used to watch this all the time. His relationship with Winnie was the most frustrating thing ever.

Winnie would have made a nice Meadow Soprano.

I used to watch reruns every morning on like Showcase(?) in my summer vacation of grade 8, but then they stopped playing them, I might start watching them on Youtube or something...
