Secondhand Lions tried too much to be like The Fall, which is a much superior film. It also happens to be gorgeous.

So Secondhand Lions tried to be like a movie that came out three years after it was released? Interesting.

Great picks, glad to see another fan of Hour of the Wolf, I think it's Bergman's best. But Rocky 3?

Hour of the Wolf is my favorite Bergman. Seventh Seal almost made the list.

But yes. Rocky 3. The absolute perfect amount of cheese and entertainment, and I'll stand by that to my grave. It's not cinematic brilliance, but the afore-mentioned attributes mean that I can, have, and will watch it over and over.
